I have been working in the early childhood education sector for the last sixteen years. I have experience in kindergarten, centres and homebased Education. I gained a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education through Te Tari Puna Ora o Aotearoa. While training I worked under an attachment base learning philosophy which emphasizes the importance and core component that relationships have in teaching. This value has been embedded into my own personal philosophy and reflected in my daily practice by building strong relationships in my learning community. I am passionate about the under two-year olds and importance in laying strong foundations, sense of self and identity so they can be their best self and confidence to be a lifelong learner.

I have lived in the Hawkes Bay for the last seven years with my partner and four boys Andre, Harrison, Declan and Grayson. As a family we enjoy the lovely Hawkes Bay weather and being active together. I am looking forward to being a part of Rockmybaby® team and meeting all the new children and families.
