Our tutors

Rockmybaby® has an extensive database of tutors available throughout the country. Each has been taken through our three-stage recruitment process including:

• Interview(s)
• Police checks
• Reference checks

Our tutors come from a variety of backgrounds – from teachers, to university students, and teacher aids. All our tutors have the subject-specific knowledge and skills to help your child learn and feel confident at school. Whether it is literacy, numeracy, music, language, or something else entirely, we can find someone to help!

The process of recruiting a tutor

Every family and learner is unique, therefore it is important to find a tutor that will fit your family situation and suits your needs. You may like to consider the kind of support you would like:

• What subjects / skills would you like your tutor to help your child with?
• What day/s of the week would you like your tutor to help your child?
• What kind of tutoring are you looking for? Someone to help with homework/assignments, or someone to ‘teach’?

Our recruitment process is simple and can be done online or over the phone

• Register your job request online, outlining the role and the type of tutor you are looking for.
• We will then contact you to discuss any other details and create an online advertisement.
• When we receive applications from potential tutors, we will forward their profiles to you. Their profile will detail their previous experience, qualifications and an insight into their personality.

Many applicants will have been through our vetting process and will be registered with us already, while others may be new to Rockmybaby®. You can be assured that every tutor we recommend to our clients has been rigorously vetted.
