- Family looking for a full-time Nanny/Housekeeper to support with upkeep of household duties, pick up children from school/daycare (only if parents are not able to do so) and care for children until 6pm.
Mon to Fri 1pm - 6pm and Saturday 8am - 12pm
Hours in school holidays: 8am - 5pm.
Additional hours in evening by agreement.
The family have 5x children ages 15, 12, 10, 5, 4 yrs
15yr old walks to & from school. School is 2.6km away and Preschool is 1.4km away. Nanny only required to do the school pick up if parents are not able to.
The nanny is an additional help and support Mum at home as she is largely doing the pick up from school and then coming home & may then take 1 child to an after school activity. The nanny is not alone with all 5 children as normally the parents are out, they have 1-2 children with them.
The family do often like to go out for dinner once a week and sometimes have overseas holidays so that would be by agreement
RESPONSIBILITIES:
While children are at daycare/school:
- putting away groceries
- folding and putting away washing
- preparing dinner
- emptying rubbish bins
- ironing
Collect children from preschool 3pm/school 3:30pm (15yr old walks) IF parents are not able to do so.
- unpack school bags and emptyi lunch boxes
- prepare afternoon tea
- assist children with homework and after school activities
- caring and looking after children to ensure they are safe
- ensuring family areas and children’s rooms stay tidy with things put away
Nanny needs full drivers licence and own reliable vehicle. Mileage will be covered.
**Nanny must have childcare experience beyond casual babysitting work.**
